World Federation of Orthodontists

World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) was founded in 1995, on the 4th International Congress of Orthodontics in San Francisco by 69 affiliated organizations. Right now, WFO consists of over 10.000 members and 114 affiliated organizations.

The purpose of WFO is to promote the art and science of orthodontics worldwide through:

Encouraging high standards in worldwide orthodontics.
Encouraging and assisting the founding of national associations for orthodontists.
Encouraging and assisting the founding of national and regional committees of certification in the field of orthodontics.
Promoting research in orthodontics.
Promoting scientific information.
Promoting high standards of training and certification for orthodontists.
Organizing the International Congress of Orthodontics every five years.

American Association of Orthodontists

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) was founded in 1900 and is the oldest and biggest organization of dental experts. Only the dentists who successfully finish a residency program in orthodontics are accepted. The organization numbers over 19.000 orthodontists from Canada, USA and Europe.

AAO members are gifted and highly-educated experts, who are tasked with diagnosing, preventing and correcting malpositioned teeth and jaws. Affiliates have a number of benefits: access to educational resources and scientific papers about orthodontics, but also about the management of dental clinics, access to programs and related events and much more.

The European Federation of Periodontology

ITI is a global association founded by implantology experts. The ITI objectives look towards promoting and spreading knowledge about oral implantology and related fields of work. ITI seeks to encourage constant learning, networking, discussions and experience exchange between experts.

International Team for Implantology was founded in 1980, in Switzerland, by 12 experts planning the future of dentistry. Today, the association consists of over 17.000 members from all over the world, who share their knowledge and experience through a modern and efficient network.

Leading Implant Centers

The Leading Implant Centers’ mission is to generate transparency on the market, with major benefits for patients interested in finding experienced implantology experts and genuine certifications in the field.

With the help of a scientific research committee, Leading Implant Centers has put together a list of affiliated medical specialists, chosen by a very strict set of criteria regarding education and experience.
