This case involved the placement of Straumann® dental implants, bone regeneration procedures and sinus lifts, endodontic treatments carried out under a microscope, and definitive restorations using premium zirconia crowns and Aspen Digital Smile Design ceramic veneers.
Using digital technologies such as ModJaw, Digital Smile Design and 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanning, the clinical team planned and carried out a personalised treatment plan, tailored to both the patient’s functional and aesthetic needs.
The patient presented at the clinic with several complex dental problems, including missing teeth, compromised old restorations and dental damage that was affecting both her chewing function and the appearance of her smile. The absence of some posterior teeth was affecting the stability of the bite and comfort whilst chewing, and some of the remaining teeth required endodontic treatment and reconstruction prior to definitive restoration.
Following the clinical consultation and digital assessments, the medical team recommended a multidisciplinary, personalised treatment plan to restore oral health, functionality and dental aesthetics.
