Predictability is an important element for anyone making a decision about their health.
When it comes to dental implant treatment, you need to feel safe and know that you have a medical team on your side.
Out of respect for our patients, we have developed the DENT ESTET Masterplan, a unique protocol that demystifies dental implant treatment in clear stages that you can follow.
The DENT ESTET Digital Implantology Masterplan is designed to facilitate dental implant treatments and ensure the same standard of excellence for patients in all DENT ESTET clinics.
We offer you two action plans with different stages, depending on the clinical situation and your doctor's recommendation:
The implantologist will examine your case, medical history, discuss your expectations, and explain the available treatment options. For the success of the immediate treatment procedure, it is vital for the doctor to clinically evaluate if the conditions are met to achieve implant stability immediately after insertion.
The coordinating doctor will perform a thorough clinical evaluation, including X-rays and CBCT tomography, to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the immediate treatment procedure. Dental imaging provides the doctor with information about the quality of the support bone, on which the implant's stability depends immediately after insertion.
With the help of 3D intraoral scanning, the doctor can plan the position of the future implant, and the laboratory will plan the prosthetic restoration.
If certain conditions are not met, the standard treatment procedure is the recommended solution.
On the day of the intervention, the implantologist will perform several steps in a single procedure:
From the day of the intervention, you can enjoy a functional restoration of the dentition that will look and feel like a natural tooth.
The doctor will provide you with a set of home instructions for the healing period, and the medical team and Patient Care Coordinator will closely monitor you.
10-14 days after the intervention, you will return to the implantologist for a check-up.
After a few months, the implant and gum are ready to connect the final prosthetic work.
During the prosthetic consultation, the doctor will use the Trios 3Shape digital intraoral scanner, Modjaw 4D scanner, or RayFace facial scanner to plan the future prosthetic work.
The patient's digital data is sent to the Aspen lab, which will create a definitive prosthetic work with natural aesthetics.
The prosthetist will replace the provisional prosthetic work with the definitive prosthetic work made of durable materials. It may be necessary to have a fitting visit before cementing the definitive work to ensure it is comfortable, functional, and meets all aesthetic requirements.
To maintain the excellent results obtained, it is necessary to keep good oral hygiene at home. During the healing period and after receiving the definitive prosthetic work, it is important to follow your doctor's instructions regarding oral care.
In addition to brushing and using auxiliary means (oral shower, dental floss, mouthwash), it is necessary to return for periodic check-ups and prophylaxis sessions every six months or as recommended by the case doctor.
In this way, you can enjoy the benefits of the Quality Assurance Certificate for all treatments performed in DENT ESTET clinics.
The doctor will evaluate your dental and medical history, help clarify your expectations, and explain the available treatment options.
The coordinating doctor will perform a thorough clinical evaluation, including X-rays and CBCT tomography, to determine the quality of the support bone for the future implant. If deemed necessary, the doctor may indicate bone reconstruction procedures.
If the implant is recommended to replace an irrecoverable tooth, it will be extracted under anesthesia. The area will need a healing period of a few months, depending on the case. The doctor will instruct you on how to care for the area during the healing period.
To place the implant, the doctor will open the gum and thread a space for the future implant. This can be done under local or general anesthesia. On the implant screw, the doctor will place a healing abutment that will shape the gingival contour during the healing period.
During the osseointegration period, you will have a gap in the dentition. If you or the coordinating doctor opt for a temporary prosthetic solution, you can benefit from a provisional crown.
Depending on the treatment plan, the osseointegration process can last between 2 and 9 months, during which you must follow the doctor's instructions regarding diet and oral hygiene.
Approximately 10-14 days after the intervention, you will return to the clinic for a check-up and suture removal.
When the implant area is completely healed, we can proceed to the final prosthetic stage.
The prosthetist will take an impression to be sent to the Aspen dental lab. At this stage, the doctor can use the Trios 3Shape digital intraoral scanner, Modjaw 4D scanner, or RayFace facial scanner to plan the future prosthetic work.
The patient's digital data is sent to the Aspen lab, which will create a definitive prosthetic work with natural aesthetics.
To complete the treatment plan, you will return for a visit to the prosthetist. You will be able to try the definitive prosthetic work so the doctor can make the final adjustments. Once the final details are in place, the doctor will cement the definitive dental crown on the implant.
Now, the prosthetic restoration is complete, and you can enjoy a functional and aesthetic work.

New medical techniques and digital technologies allow us to:
Dental implant treatment involves an integrated digital workflow between the clinician and the dental laboratory.
DENT ESTET clinics have implemented digital workflows from the information collection phase, continuing through the treatment planning stages, including collaboration with the Aspen dental laboratory.
Digital technologies allow time-efficient protocols, increase comfort during treatment, and improve patient satisfaction.
