Digital dentistry is a dynamic and innovative field that offers an increasingly wide range of treatment solutions applicable in esthetic dentistry.
The 3D facial scanner, the latest technology implemented in the DENT ESTET clinics, allows customization of the treatment plan based on the patient's facial features.
This 3D facial scanner is an upgrade from 2D diagnostic photography, as both the dentist and the dental technician have access to your digital 3D portrait, allowing them to plan your future smile with much greater accuracy.
Created by a South Korean company that has been contributing to the global field of digital dentistry since 2004, the RAYFace® facial scanner is among the innovations setting a new standard in dental imaging solutions. In oral rehabilitation treatment, whether it involves veneers, crowns, or fixed prosthetics, 3D facial scanning gives the dentist the ability to plan the future work starting from the patient's facial features. A customized treatment plan, guided by facial characteristics, means that you can enjoy a new, natural smile that enhances your appearance. From diagnosis to treatment, the RAYFace® 3D facial scanner is a device compatible with the digital workflow integrated into the DENT ESTET clinics.
It takes 0.5 seconds to capture your most natural smile in 3D. With the help of six high-resolution cameras, facial contour and definition are rendered instantly.
The technology embedded in this scanner allows for the superimposition of all the investigations in the patient's file, such as computed tomography, 3D intraoral scanning, and 3D facial scanning, to create a dental avatar of the patient.
RayFace provides the foundation for a complete treatment solution guided by the patient's facial characteristics. Thus, this scanner uses the information obtained from the patient's 3D facial scan to guide or personalize the treatment.
Offering a quick and accurate diagnosis, the dentist can perform a 3D simulation of the smile design for predictability of the final result. The data collected by the RAYFace® 3D facial scanner is integrated with the data collected by the intraoral scanner, CBCT computed tomography, and the Modjaw™ 4D scanner. RAYFace® is an effective communication device from which you will benefit in your relationship with your dentist. Smile previewing is the moment when you can discuss any aspect regarding future prosthetic work. Once the oral rehabilitation planning phase is complete, the dentist will provide the digital dental laboratory Aspen with all the necessary data for creating the prosthetics (veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays, total prosthetic work for All-on-4®). The laboratory is equipped with CAD/CAM technology, meaning the design of future work is computer-assisted and manufacturing is also computerized. CAD/CAM technology allows the laboratory to deliver prosthetic work that is aesthetically advanced, durable, personalized, and compatible with the patient's data, under the coordination of the expert ceramist team at the Aspen laboratory.
