DENT ESTET, part of the MedLife group, is entering the dental market in Oradea through the acquisition of a 60% stake in the Oradent by Dr. Costea clinic

Bucharest, 15 November 2021: The DENT ESTET Group, the established leader in the Romanian dental services market and part of the MedLife Medical System, announces the signing of the contract to acquire a 60% stake in Oradent by Dr. Costea, a clinic in Oradea and the local leader in terms of turnover for 2020.

This is the third acquisition by the DENT ESTET Group in just one year, following the Krondent (Brașov) and Stomestet (Cluj-Napoca) clinics. DENT ESTET now has a portfolio of 14 clinics in seven major cities across the country: Bucharest, Timișoara, Sibiu, Brașov, Ploiești, Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.

Founded by Dr Cosmin Costea, a dentist specialising in implantology, a dental prosthetics specialist and a resident in dento-alveolar surgery, the Oradent Clinic by Dr Costea is the market leader in dentistry in Bihor County, with a turnover of 3.1 million RON in 2020.

With over 20 years’ experience in general dentistry, 14 years in implantology and 10 years in cosmetic dentistry, the clinic in Oradea offers patients a full range of premium dental services (orthodontics, implantology, cosmetic dentistry, dental treatments for children and adults) and has its own digital dental radiology laboratory.

Thanks to this new partnership, the team of dentists led by Dr Cosmin Costea will benefit from the culture of knowledge-sharing and mentoring promoted within DENT ESTET, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive and appropriate treatment solutions, a multidisciplinary approach to their case, as well as access to state-of-the-art technologies and equipment, enabling the diagnosis of dental conditions at an early stage.

Among the state-of-the-art equipment available at the Oradent by Dr Costea clinic are CBCT computed tomography, the most advanced digital technology, offering maximum accuracy in diagnosing maxillofacial conditions; the intraoral scanner, which reduces treatment time, and the electronic microscope, used in endodontic treatments as well as in the treatment of cavities for maximum precision and control.

The DENT ESTET Group was founded in 1999 and is currently the market leader in the field of dental services in Romania. Over the course of its 22-year history, the team has grown to over 350 specialists, 155 of whom are dentists. Over the years, they have treated more than 133,000 patients.
