Dr. Mirela Gândilă: "Working with people always gives me the satisfaction that I can do good"

Two of the most important human values my parents passed on to me are empathy and kindness. So, it was quite easy for me to go into the medical profession because I find in it both attributes.

And as I studied and started practicing dentistry, I realized how much it suits me.

Working with people can be a challenge, but one that gives you infinite times more the satisfaction that you were able to do good, to help the patient who comes to you in the hope that you will help them.

And I also see this daily inter-human interaction as self-education, because it has made me more responsible. Not because I wouldn't have been before, but because I have discovered more nuances of responsibility.

SPECIALIZATION

I chose dental aesthetics because it represents the concretization of my vision of beauty and perfection. Ever since my first year of dental school, I envisioned how I would make my patients smile broadly and be delighted with the final result.

The greatest joy after the completion of a treatment is the patients' satisfaction, and I love to make and see people happy.

THE DENT ESTET TEAM

In a few months it will be two years since I joined the DENT ESTET team in Sibiu. I joined the team from the beginning, I accepted this challenge because I felt that this is the place where I can evolve and because I saw it as a real opportunity for the Sibiu community.

I am ambitious when it comes to my professional development, which is why I give my best every day, both professionally and personally. And I have learned that patience and perseverance are the key to success.

What I value very much at DENT ESTET is that each team member is stimulated to perform individually and is trained and knows the internal working protocols.

I believe that learning is a lifelong and continuous process, so I am extremely happy and grateful to learn new things from my colleagues in Sibiu and Bucharest.

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Of course, never give up on what you want. I believe that the attributes that best define me are ambition to do things well, joie de vivre and fulfilment.

And the profession I have chosen gives me a little bit of all of them every day. Every case is a challenge for me because no two cases are the same. The important thing is to find the ideal way to solve the case, without compromise. And you will find the reward in the most amazing smile.

LEISURE TIME

I've discovered my passion for cooking, it relaxes me and it's one of the reasons that brings family close, and family occupies a very important place in my life.

Apart from cooking, I would love to be able to travel anytime, to know and discover all the places around the world. I am a curious person by nature, hence my desire to visit new places.

A graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Dr. Mirela Gândilă has been part of the medical team of DENT ESTET Sibiu since 2018 and continues her training in Dental Aesthetics, regularly attending specialized courses and trainings in Romania and abroad.
