Mereu am privit zâmbetul ca o pictură în ansamblu - Dr. Ana Maria Drăgoi

I've always perceived the smile as a whole - Dr. Ana Maria Dragoi

Specialized in Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Ana Maria Dragoi believes that professional experience must go hand in hand with a certain attitude. In her opinion, a good doctor has to be a good person, to empathize, and think of the patient's well-being, be patient and passionate about the profession.

I chose dentistry when I was little, without realizing it. When I was about 8 years old, I was out playing and after an incident I suffered a fracture in one of my central incisors. And so began my visits to the dentist... which I enjoyed. And because there were no veneers back then, I was always wondering why there was no solution to lengthen my tooth immediately, to make it look like before. I think that's when my fascination with dentistry started.

"I've always dreamed of being a doctor, and now that I'm practicing, I don't think there's anything better suited for me. I don't know how to do anything better than dentistry."

THE DENT ESTET TEAM

I have always enjoyed working in a team. I believe that when you have a team of specialists, the most beneficial for the patient is that each member carries out the tasks in which he/she is an expert so that in the end we have a complete treatment. My mentor gave me self-confidence, helped me be disciplined me and that is how I learned to think in a holistic way about each patient's treatment plan in order to make it efficient.

SPECIALIZATION

It came naturally. Ever since I started dentistry I was drawn to the aesthetics of smiles. I was always looking at a patient as a whole, not focusing exclusively on one tooth. I looked at the face as a whole painting. And because I also explained to them what could be improved in their teeth, patients liked the fact that I was giving them an aesthetic solution for their smile. And the satisfaction I get from aesthetics has made me specialize in this field. There are always new things to learn, to improve. I like going to courses to see how other specialists approach a complex case as a whole and extract the information that suits my style.

If you try to get to know the patients, to communicate openly with them, basically, you kind of figure out what they want, what their expectations of you are. And so you know what to offer them!

THE RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Everything I've done so far, from my studies to my passions, has given me the skills necessary for success in dentistry: the math I studied in high school developed my analytical thinking, the violin classes stimulated my creativity, and the team I found at DENT ESTET helped me develop and perform exactly as I wanted.
Patient feedback is our satisfaction. It doesn't matter how tired you are, how hard you've worked, their emotions crown your work and you realize how beautiful this job is.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE DOCTOR

I'm an artist by nature. From second grade through ninth grade I played the violin. To entertain myself, I play either the violin or sing. This artistic side, developed through music, has enhanced my creativity, which I have used in communicating with patients. I create a connection with each person who comes into my office or work with, I like to hear their stories. Creativity has also helped me visualize the big picture of treatment plans."
