Bucharest, October 15, 2021: The DENT ESTET Group, an established leader in the Romanian dental services market and part of the MedLife Medical System, and Stomestet, one of the leading dental clinics in Transylvania, announce the signing of a strategic partnership.

Stomestet, headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, is the most performing private dental clinic in Transylvania and a renowned educational center for future dentists and specialists in the field, coordinating residency programs, courses and specialized conferences.

The clinic was founded in 2001 by two leaders in the field of Romanian dentistry, Dr. Smaranda Buduru, primary general dentistry and dental prosthodontics, PhD in medical sciences, and Dr. Rareș Buduru, with interest in implantology and dental prosthodontics, author of several specialized works and manager. With a turnover of 8.11 million lei (€1.8 million), recorded in 2020, Stomestet ranks first in the top of the top companies in the dental market in the central and northern part of the country.

Dr. Rareș Buduru: "We wanted to join a team that has proven its value over time"

Thanks to the vision of the two co-founders, Dr. Rareș Buduru and conf. dr. Smaranda Buduru, coordinator of residency programs and other numerous specialized courses, Stomestet has grown at a very dynamic pace, currently bringing together a multidisciplinary team of 16 dentists, some of which academics, 18 nurses and 4 dental technicians. The new clinic, inaugurated in 2009, consists of 7 treatment rooms, 1 surgery room, 1 fully digitalized integrated dental laboratory, digital dental radiology services and 1 post-graduate classroom.

The complexity of the performed treatment plans, the development of an integrated multidisciplinary system in which patients benefit from the most advanced treatments, as well as the application of the latest scientific information coupled with the latest technology are elements that have contributed to the prestige of the Stomestet clinic.

In the transaction, the Stomestet clinic was assisted by M&A consultant Gordana Teodorescu, with over 15 years of experience in the dental services market, and by lawyer Marius Grecu, with extensive experience in the field of business law in Cluj-Napoca. On the other side, for DENT ESTET, the legal consultancy was provided by Șerban Suchea, Partner MITEL & ASOCIAȚII, and the financial and tax consultancy by Daniela Buhuș and Valentina Radu, from TS Partners.

The DENT ESTET Group was established in 1999 and is currently the market leader in dental services in Romania. In the 22 years of its existence, the team has grown to 350 specialists, of which over 130 are doctors. Over the years they have treated more than 130,000 patients.
