Dr. Eric Bumbar

Dr. Eric Bumbar is a dentist at the DENT ESTET Genesys clinic in Arad, certified in oral implantology and with a particular professional interest in implantology, dental prosthetics and the digital technologies used in treatment planning.

He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the ‘Victor Babeș’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara in 2024. His undergraduate thesis, ‘Sinus complications of dento-alveolar surgery’, explored a topic relevant to the surgical aspect of dentistry. Subsequently, between 2024 and 2025, he completed his training through the certificate programme in Oral Implantology organised by the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest.

Ever since childhood, he has been drawn to activities requiring precision, concentration and attention to detail. He found these qualities in dentistry, a field in which scientific rigour and practical skills are complemented by an understanding of each patient’s needs.

Implantology and dental prosthetics caught his attention due to the complexity of the cases and the importance placed on the assessment, planning and functional integration of restorations. His training includes courses and workshops on implantology, oral and mucogingival surgery, tissue regeneration and PRF, endodontics, intraoral scanning and digital workflows.

When planning prosthetic cases, Dr. Eric Bumbar is interested in integrating intraoral scanning and MODJAW technology, which enables the digital analysis of mandibular movements and the use of this information to determine the treatment plan.

“MODJAW technology, alongside intraoral scanning, helps us to better understand the dynamics of mandibular function and to integrate this data into the treatment plan. This enables us to tailor prosthetic reconstructions to the specific functional characteristics of each patient,” explains Dr. Eric Bumbar.

In his interactions with patients, he places great emphasis on clear communication and explaining the stages of treatment, believing that trust is built through dialogue, careful planning and medical decisions tailored to each individual case.

Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about fitness, mountain biking and cooking.
