Dr. Ioana Băbuț

Dr. Ioana Babuț is a paediatric dentist and a graduate of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the ‘Victor Papilian’ University of Sibiu. She currently practices at the DENT ESTET 4 KIDS clinic in Sibiu. When working with young patients, she emphasises patience, empathy and adapting her communication style to each child’s age and personality.

Her professional training includes attending events dedicated to paediatric dentistry and managing patients’ emotions. In 2021, she undertook the course ‘Hypnosis Applied in Dentistry’, led by psychotherapist Bianca Radu. In 2022, she attended the 16th Congress of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, held in Lisbon, and in 2025, the 5th International Congress of Contemporary Paediatric Dentistry – Horizons in Paediatric Dentistry.

In her practice, she pays particular attention to the first visit and to gradually helping the child become accustomed to the dental environment. She believes that a positive experience, built without pressure, can influence how the child views dental care in the long term.

She derives particular satisfaction from the progress made by anxious children who, through communication, patience and gradual familiarisation, manage to gain confidence and cooperate during treatment.
