Patients today are much more informed and curious. They come with questions, photos, references, and sometimes a very clear idea of ​​what they want. However, I believe one of the most wonderful changes is the growing interest in natural-looking results. We are no longer talking merely about "perfect teeth," but about a smile that suits the individual.

I love the moment when we discover together that it is precisely those unique characteristics, minor imperfections, or personal details that lend authenticity to a smile. I don't believe in standardized smiles!

Before considering the teeth, I look at the person—at their facial expression, the way they speak and smile, and their proportions and features.
The shape, color, and fine details must harmonize with one another, but above all, they must suit the person before me. A truly beautiful result is one that doesn't draw attention because it looks "done," but rather because it appears so natural.

Through conversation. I let them tell me what bothers them and what they would like to change, but I also ask what they already like about their smile. Sometimes, that is exactly where we find the answer.
What a patient says at the start isn't always what they deeply desire. That is why it is important for me to understand not only the change they are asking for but also how they expect to feel after that change. This is where a relationship of trust begins: in listening, curiosity, and sincerity on both sides.

Sometimes, the difference lies in an almost imperceptible detail: a contour, a level of translucency, a subtle color variation, or the way light reflects off the tooth's surface.

Taken individually, these elements might go unnoticed. Yet, together, they lend a natural look to the entire smile. It is precisely this realm of fine detail that fascinates me about prosthetics. At the same time, aesthetics cannot exist in isolation from functionality—a smile must be beautiful, but above all, it must be healthy, comfortable, and functional.

I am keen to understand what the patient likes and the motivation behind their desire for change. We can look at photos and examples together and discuss trends, but my starting point is always health.

My role also involves explaining what can be achieved, what each option entails, where the limitations lie, and what will remain beautiful and suitable over time. I don’t just want the patient to be happy with the result the day we finish treatment; I want them to still view it favorably years down the line.

It ensures I never view the smile in isolation from the face. I observe how the teeth appear when the patient speaks and smiles, how the lips sit, what the natural facial proportions are, and how the expression changes.

I find it fascinating that the same shape or shade can look completely different from one person to another. That is precisely why there is no universal formula. Each face calls for different choices!

I’ve learned that trust is built over time—and very often, through small things. Remembering a specific fear, being patient with a question, explaining something again when necessary, or simply knowing how to listen.
It brings me immense joy when a patient returns after years and we can speak with the same openness. At the same time, it carries a sense of responsibility: I monitor how the results hold up and how their needs evolve over time.
I put my heart into my relationships with my patients, and I believe they have become one of the most important sources of joy in my profession.

I am a very curious person and I think this is also reflected in my passions. I love art, interior design, perfumes and vintage objects, and flea markets are a real ground for me to explore. I can go without looking for anything in particular and come back with an object that has a story and suddenly gives me an idea for a whole project.
I like places with history and personality and I always pay attention to details — a color, a material, a smell, an atmosphere. And I admit that it is quite difficult for me not to have a new project in mind. I think this is also one of my forms of relaxation: to search, to discover, to imagine and to create.
And beyond all these passions, it's family and loved ones that always bring me back to the really important things and give me the balance I need.

I love that, in both cases, details matter, yet they shouldn't overshadow the whole. A successful space isn't one where you notice every object individually, but one where you feel at ease without knowing exactly why.
Similarly, a beautiful smile isn't one where you notice the work done, but one that looks as though it has always belonged to that person.
For me, true harmony emerges when beauty doesn't create uniformity but instead highlights what is unique—when naturalness becomes the most sincere form of individuality!
