For me, it is a pleasure to be in the dental office. The atmosphere, the instruments, the way of working, all gave me the feeling that this is the place I belong. Over time, this pleasure turned into a real passion for the profession.

I realized this after graduating from college and starting to build my foundation in clinical dentistry. I discovered that Prosthetics and Aesthetic Dentistry are the areas where I can combine precision with creativity.

In addition, you can immediately see the impact that the new smile acquired thanks to aesthetic dentistry treatments has on the patient's life. The fact that I can contribute to a functional, harmonious and natural smile motivates me to continuously improve myself.

It was a new and challenging experience that helped me realize that I was capable of much more than I thought. It was an environment that pushed me to evolve, learn and exceed my limits. An important role in my journey at DENT ESTET Brașov was played by Dr. Codruța Ciurescu – primary doctor in General Dentistry and specialist in Dento-alveolar Surgery, with a certificate in implantology and periodontology, and Dr. Ioana Barbu – specialist in Dental Prosthetics. They helped me see dentistry from a different, deeper perspective, and showed me that Prosthetics can truly change a patient’s quality of life. I learned something from each of them – either technically, related to the relationship with the patient, or in approaching complex cases.

I have attended several courses and conferences focused on Advanced Prosthetics and Dental Aesthetics, where I met internationally recognized professionals. The ones that had the greatest impact were those dedicated to modern restoration techniques and digital guidance in dentistry. These have solidified my direction in which I want to evolve.

As the saying goes, mens sana in corpore sano. Dental health and the appearance of our smile influence us both psychologically and functionally. A healthy smile gives us confidence, and oral health helps us function properly.
But more than that, studies have shown that there is a close relationship between oral and general health. We know that if we are faced with dental conditions, such as periodontal disease or missing teeth, they can lead to the aggravation of systemic diseases, such as diabetes or cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, we must go to the dentist for regular check-ups to prevent such serious problems.

This is a patient who told me that he regained his self-confidence after his smile was completely restored with the help of cosmetic dentistry treatments. The moment he started to laugh, I saw in his eyes the joy and satisfaction that the result was the one he wanted. This sincere joy, this contentment is the most satisfying part of my work and the confirmation that all the effort and attention were worth it.

Having a well-trained team is essential. In my practice at DENT ESTET, I have realized that excellent results come from collaboration, communication and a shared vision of the case. Each specialist brings a different perspective, and together we can offer the patient the best solution.
I really like an African proverb that I feel is true in dentistry: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with others.”

I like to spend time with my loved ones, relax, play sports, and enjoy activities that disconnect me. Whether it's a walk, a trip to the mountains, or a quiet evening, the important thing is to recharge my batteries for a new day in the office.
