This case involved a complete oral rehabilitation using the All-on-4 dental implant system, NEODENT® NEOARCH®, with the placement of four dental implants in the upper arch and the fitting of a temporary fixed restoration on the day of the procedure. Following the healing and osseointegration period, the restoration was replaced with a definitive restoration on a titanium framework and HIPC physiognomic composite crowns.
The final result restored the patient’s functional stability, chewing comfort and a natural smile, helping to improve her quality of life and self-confidence.

The patient, Maria I., presented at the clinic with compromised dentition in the upper arch, affected by tooth loss and teeth with a poor prognosis, conditions which were affecting both her ability to chew and the aesthetics of her smile.
Following a clinical assessment and imaging investigations, the medical team recommended reconstruction of the upper arch using the NEODENT® NEOARCH® dental implant system – an All-on-4 system. The treatment enabled a temporary fixed prosthesis to be fitted on the same day, followed subsequently by the final restoration.
Four NEODENT® Titan Aqua dental implants by Straumann®
on the upper arch, in accordance with the All-on-4 protocol, to support a full fixed prosthesis.
Provisional total fixed works
On the day of the operation, the patient was fitted with a temporary fixed restoration, in line with the immediate loading approach, so that she could smile and eat from the very first days following treatment.
Final All-on-4 prosthetic restoration
Following the osseointegration period, the temporary restoration was replaced with a permanent restoration comprising a titanium framework and HIPC physiognomic composite crowns, to ensure strength and natural-looking aesthetics.
