A digitally reconstructed smile for aesthetic balance, stability and functionality
For Alexandru I., the DENT ESTET medical team carried out a comprehensive treatment programme aimed at replacing missing teeth, restoring damaged teeth and improving the aesthetics of his smile. The treatment plan included five Straumann® BLX SLActive® dental implants, ten EMAX Ivoclar veneers, six zirconia-backed ceramic crowns and seven ceramic crowns on implants.
Alexandru I. had missing teeth in the lateral regions of the jaw, root remnants and prosthetic restorations that needed replacing. This situation affected both his chewing function and the appearance of his smile.
In certain areas, the placement of implants required preparation of the bone bed. At the same time, the visible natural teeth required an integrated prosthetic and aesthetic approach, so that the veneers, crowns and implant-supported restorations would form a harmonious whole.
The treatment was planned using a digital workflow, involving ModJaw 4D dynamic occlusion analysis, 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanning and the fabrication of restorations using CAD-CAM technology. Each stage was tailored to the patient’s specific functional and aesthetic requirements to ensure the restorations blended harmoniously with their facial features.
