This case involved a comprehensive treatment plan for the aesthetic and functional restoration of the smile, carried out using Straumann® dental implants, EMAX ceramic veneers, premium CAD-CAM zirconia crowns, microscope-assisted endodontic treatments and periodontal procedures. The restorations were digitally planned to achieve a natural and predictable result.
At the end of the treatment, the patient was left with a harmonious smile, restored chewing function and prosthetic restorations that were well-suited both aesthetically and functionally.
The patient, Costică C., presented at the clinic with compromised teeth, old restorations, edentulous areas and periodontal disease, all of which were affecting both his ability to chew and the appearance of his smile.
Following clinical and imaging assessments, the medical team drew up a multidisciplinary treatment plan combining implantology, digital prosthetics, microscopic endodontics and periodontal treatments to restore oral health and dental aesthetics.

Endodontic treatments under a microscope
Microscopic endodontics
Several teeth underwent endodontic treatment and retreatment under an operating microscope prior to definitive restorations, in order to preserve the tooth structures and improve the predictability of the treatment.
Periodontal treatment
Laser periodontal therapy and mucogingival surgery
The treatment plan included laser-assisted periodontal treatments, periodontal measurement using the FLORIDA PROBE, and periodontal plastic surgery procedures, with the aim of stabilising gum health and optimising the aesthetic outcome.
