Appearing on the programme ‘Sănătate cu Stil’ on Prima TV, Dr. Iana Dilă, a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, explained how aligner treatment works and what role digital technology plays in achieving a harmonious smile.

“Aligners are transparent mouth trays, custom-made based on a 3D digital scan, which gradually move the teeth into the correct position. Unlike traditional braces, they can be removed whilst eating and for oral hygiene, offering greater comfort and flexibility throughout the treatment,” explains Dr. Iana Dilă.

Furthermore, digital technology makes the treatment more precise and predictable. The patient can see a digital simulation of the final result right from the start.
