Types of Invisalign® dental appliances
Invisalign® Express
Invisalign® Express is the ideal solution for patients with minor dental crowding who want to straighten their teeth before undergoing veneer treatment or to correct previous orthodontic treatment that did not produce the desired results.
A maximum of 10 aligner sets are used, with treatment lasting between 3 and 6 months.
Invisalign® Lite Full
Invisalign® Lite Full is the optimal treatment solution for correcting moderate orthodontic problems: crooked front teeth, mild dental crowding, small interdental spaces and minor problems with tooth alignment on the arch.
Up to 14 sets of aligners are used, with treatment lasting 6-7 months. This option offers a 2-year warranty period from the start of treatment, so that additional aligners can be ordered and the treatment adjusted, if necessary, for up to 24 months.
Invisalign® Comprehensive
The Invisalign® Comprehensive dental appliance is recommended in more complex cases to correct a range of dental and maxillary anomalies.
As a rule, treatment lasts between 12 and 18 months to achieve optimal aesthetic and functional results. The aligners will be worn, on average, at least 22 hours out of 24. This option offers a 5-year warranty from the start of orthodontic treatment, so an unlimited number of additional aligners are provided at no extra cost to adjust any problems that arise even after treatment is complete.
Stages of treatment with Invisalign® aligners
1. Specialist consultation
The first specialist consultation is necessary to create the orthodontic file. The specialist doctor from the DE Smart Ortho Team division will perform a detailed analysis of dental health using modern diagnostic methods such as panoramic radiography and intraoral 3D scanning.
At the doctor's recommendation, an occlusal consultation can also be performed using MODJAW™ 4D technology, which allows the type of occlusion to be identified, an essential element in personalising treatment with the Invisalign®dental appliance.
2. Digital scanning
At DENT ESTET clinics, we use 3D digital scanning with a high-performance device - 3Shape TRIOS Real Colour. This state-of-the-art scanner offers the advantage of 3D simulation of teeth and tissues in real colours, which makes the treatment outcome predictable and safe, almost completely eliminating the risk of human error.
3. Treatment plan presentation
Based on the results of the investigations, the doctor will draw up a personalised treatment plan, including detailed predictions of how your smile will evolve throughout the treatment.
4. Ordering the Invisalign® dental appliance
The information obtained from the investigations carried out by the orthodontist is sent to a laboratory specialising in the Invisalign® technique in the United States. American technicians then use the advanced ClinCheck® 3D software to create customised alignment sets that will be applied directly to the teeth by the patient, under the supervision of a specialist from the DENT ESTET team.
5. Application of Invisalign® aligners
During a follow-up consultation, the orthodontist will fit the first set of Invisalign® aligners and provide details on how to use the clear aligners, how often they should be changed (between 10 and 14 days), and how to care for them.
Each new aligner will take over the position of the teeth established by the previous aligner, thus helping the teeth to reach the desired alignment at the end of the treatment.
6. Treatment monitoring
During treatment, the orthodontist will monitor the progress of tooth repositioning and make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results.
