The process by which you will enjoy fixed teeth in 24 hours must be well thought out in order to achieve the desired results. We are transparent and, therefore, we explain the steps to you, step by step:

Step 1: Consultation and digital investigations

The consultation includes a clinical examination and a recommendation to perform a series of modern imaging investigations:

• panoramic X-ray  
• CBCT computed tomography
• digital impression

3D tomography allows for the analysis of bone volume, nerve position and sinuses. Based on this data, we determine whether you are eligible for treatment and what the specific plan is.

Step 2: Digital planning

While you are mentally preparing for the day of the procedure, the medical team is working hard.  

We use specialised software to create a personalised surgical guide, a biocompatible resin template that guides the implantologist in inserting the implants with unmatched precision. The coordinating doctor will also work with the ASPEN laboratory to create the temporary prosthesis.  

This step reduces risks, increases precision, and makes the procedure more predictable.  

Step 3: The day of the procedure

The implants are inserted under local anaesthesia and, in certain cases, when the patient is anxious and wants greater comfort, conscious sedation may be opted for. At DENT ESTET clinics, we have an ICU department equipped with specific equipment, where the patient is continuously monitored throughout the procedure.

Depending on the complexity, the procedure can take several hours. But thanks to digital technology, it is minimally invasive. Bleeding is minimal, and swelling is very low. You will not feel any pain during the procedure.

Step 4: Fixing the temporary restoration on the same day or within 24 hours

Depending on your case and the initial stability achieved, this step can take place on the same day or within 24 hours after the implants are inserted.  

What exactly does a fixed temporary restoration mean? It is not a removable denture that you take out at night. These are teeth fixed directly onto the implants, which look natural and are immediately functional. The prosthetic restoration is customised to the shape of your face, the right colour and the correct aesthetic proportions.

Step 5: Healing period (2-6 months)
