I chose dentistry because I saw it as a complement to my way of being. This is why my passion for this profession and the dedication I give in the practice every day has not diminished over time, on the contrary, I now feel that I am practicing performance dentistry.
And you can do performance if you don't stop learning. Because innovations and new ways of approaching a case are always emerging, you have to be connected to everything that is new and open to learning, in order to offer your patient the best treatment options.
Dentistry is like a living organism that is constantly progressing, with digital technology evolving, treatment methods becoming even more patient-oriented, and solutions becoming more customized.
I, as a dentist, want to be part of this evolution, to embrace it and adapt it to my working methods.
In dentistry, technology is evolving day by day and you have to keep up with this digitalized era.
I must admit that I am lucky! At DENT ESTET I have a team that has always been by my side and helped me whenever I needed. I still remember now my first anaesthesia, I was very nervous but I pulled myself together and was able to give the patient the best treatment, successfully. What I always appreciated, especially in my first years in the profession, was the openness of my colleagues to share their experience, to help me with advice when I needed it, or even when I didn't ask for it. In addition, I also had the chance to work with experienced and senior doctors.
I chose endodontics because I am a meticulous person and I felt that this specialization gave me the opportunity to put into practice a number of my strengths: meticulousness, order, and following an exact work flow. Now, I am also developing my practice in another specialty, dental implantology, because it seemed a natural evolution. I believe that, in your personal life, as well as in your profession, you should not be afraid to take control of what you know how to do. And you have to remain realistic, it's a quality that will help you tremendously in achieving your goals.
I remain hopelessly attached to endodontics, I believe it will always come first.
I firmly believe that you can achieve professional success through perseverance and 100% dedication to your profession.
Generally, to develop professionally and personally, you have to learn constantly. In dentistry, in particular, this happens anyway, because technology in the field is evolving day by day and you have to keep up with this digitalized era.
I see technology as an extremely valuable asset, and if you learn to use it to make your work more efficient, there's no impediment to excelling at what you do.
During my free time I go to the gym, a hobby that brings me relaxation and balance. It also requires discipline and self-control. But I always prefer spending time with my family and friends, as it helps me recharge my batteries with good cheer.
A while ago, I’ve set this goal: to be better today than I was yesterday. And through my quiet approach to all aspects of life, I've learned that you can evolve and reach any heights you want, you just need a little patience.
